Your Way

The moment I published my first post it became clear to me that new visitors will need quick access to it.

So I’m also including Post 1 – HOW TO USE THIS BLOG as a section. Please ignore it if you are on board from the start.

So, to use this blog/course efficiently, I recommend that you scan each post and answer the question in bold. Here goes:

Scan this whole post quickly. Then come back here once you’ve finished and tackle this question:

Ask yourself: which of the suggested ways to develop my creativity would suit my lifestyle best? Why? Would a combination of ways suit me? Would I prefer to work out my own way – something tailored to me? What would be my ideal way? When will I start?

Today I will explain different ways to use my posts.

The first is DIY.

This will suit people with ten to fifteen minutes to spare once a week, for example on a Sunday afternoon – or whenever you can set aside some ‘me’ time.

The second is sociable.

It will suit people who have the time and inclination to set up a small creativity group.

Two to four participants meet once every five or so weeks.

Swap views and ideas that come to you when responding to my questions.

In your creativity group you should expect to be inspired and also encourage others along their creative journey.

The third is the smartphone way.

This is for people with no time, a long journey to work and a smartphone.

Read posts on your phone and use the voice recorder to respond to them.

When you have some ‘me’ time, listen to your responses.

Jot down any ideas that come up, and convert interesting ones to action points.

And remember the old saying, ‘If you want anything done, ask a busy person!’

The fourth is your own mix.

You are creative. Improvise!

So! If you keep a journal (recommended), re-read THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS bullet points in the “Weekly Practice” menu choice.

Then go back to the question in bold at the top of this first post and answer it.
